Tonight we had a meeting of the neighborhood to put together
ideas as to what we can do to help Mike and Gwen Ripley. The following are the
“minutes” from that meeting and who is going to do what.
Bonnie is going to check with her friend who works in the
Human Services to see if there are any programs available to assist people
during the time of recovery after injury or illness.
Lex, Pete and Kathy are going to take care of any snow
removal at Gwen and Mike’s house.
Scott and Michelle (Mike and Gwen’s children)are going to
have a discussion with their parents regarding what their needs are both short
and long term. How we as neighbors may be able to help. Michelle is going to
check with her Grandma as to the possibility of using her community room at her
apartment for a benefit also checking with church.
Joe is going to put together a web page so that we may
communicate events going on and also check with St. James Church for the
possibility of doing some form of a benefit there.
Pete and Kathy are going to check with the Crystal Community
Center for the possibility of doing some form of a benefit there.
